A second consecutive loss has left the 4th XI needing a win in the final round to secure a finals position.
Adam Rowe showed glimpses of form as he opened his account with a lovely flick off the pad for four, but then was caught the next time - straight to square leg fieldsman.
Bruce Carpenter top scored with 30 which including four boundaries and a six over the deep third man fieldsman's head.
Graham Carpenter and Jesse Jones each scored 20s in a partnership of 51 for the ninth wicket - equal fourth highest in "D" Grade history at Coromandel.
