About Us

Coromandel Cricket Club

Established in 1862, Coromandel Cricket Club has been a mainstay of sporting and social activity in the Blackwood and Coromandel Valley districts for nearly 150 years.

Widely recognised as the "second oldest cricket club in South Australia", Coromandel has been a member of the Adelaide & Suburban Cricket Association (ASCA) since 1938/39.

The Club currently fields four senior teams (sections  2, 3, 5 and 7) which cater for a range of cricketing abilities and backgrounds, from those with Grade cricket experience to those who are still learning the game.

Opportunities for younger cricketers have been enhanced following the entry of an under 15 team in the South Central Junior Cricket Association in season 2001/2002, and an additional under 13 team in season 2002/03. (Note: This competition is played on Sunday mornings).

The priority at Coromandel is to make cricket an enjoyable experience for all its members, so if you're keen to play cricket, or would just like to get involved socially, then don't hesitate to join us.
