The Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award is an award given by the Coromandel Cricket Club recognising the most valuable player across the season. At the end of each game, each captain is allocated six points to award in a 3-2-1 format to the best players across the games. Points are tallied up with the winner being the player with the most points come the end of the season.
Please note: Before season 2004/05, each captain was only given three points in a 2-1 voting system per team.
